Maya mythology is depicted is the designs and color of the Medieval bank. Pre-Columbian, the Maya civilization had covered parts of Mexico and Guatemala. There were 13 gods of the heaven and 9 gods of the underground. Gucumatz was the Snake god. you can see a yellow serpent winding its way over the top of the head. A green serpent is on the side and has its mouth open wide. In the top left photo you see the wide open mouth. This colorful skull has been hand painted and has used the symbols of the Maya civilization as its basis. Made of resin. Dimensions: 6" x 7"
